The issue of corruption rocked Parliament for the second day today leading to the adjournment of both the houses for the day. The two houses were adjourned within minutes after they assembled for the day, first till noon and then for the day. The trouble started right from the moment, the Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha met for the day with the BJP-led opposition members up on their feet and many of them trooping into the well of the house. They were demanding in setting up of a Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) to probe the various scams including the 2G Spectrum, alleged corruption in the Commonwealth Games projects and Adharsh Housing Society scam. Some of the Congress members, agitated over the reported remarks by RSS leader K. Sudarshan on the UPA Chairperson, Mrs Sonia Gandhi, were also seen moving towards the well of the house shouting slogans against RSS. Heated exchanges were also witnessed between the opposition and the treasury benches. The houses will now meet on Monday as the sitting for tomorrow has been cancelled apparently in view of Chhath puja celebrations.
