Both J&K and Caentral govt. failed to redress basic problems of State

BJP leader L.K Advani says, both the state and the central governments have failed to redress the basic problems of the people of Jammu and Kashmir. Addressing a rally at Jammu today Advani regretted that the Pakistani refugees of 1947 residing in the State are still struggling for their rights of citizenship. He said BJP wants the Government to work for the equitable development of all the regions of the State including Jammu and Ladakh. Leader of the opposition in the Lok-Sabha Sushma Swaraj maintained that if the proposal to be submitted by the centre appointed interlocutors for Jammu and Kashmir goes against national interest, the party would oppose it in the Parliament. Leader of opposition in Rajya-Sabha Arun Jaitley criticised the government for its alleged succumbing to the pressure of the separatists and overlooking the expectations of the nationalist majority of the people in the State. In his address, the BJP National President Mr. Nitin Gadkari urged for the abrogation of Article-370 for the economic development of the State.
