Both the Houses of Parliament were adjourned for a brief period today on opposition demand for a separate Telangana state carved out of Andhra Pradesh. The Lok Sabha was adjourned for one hour and the Rajya Sabha for 15 minutes. In the Lok Sabha, members belonging to Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) trooped into the well of the house in support of their demand. Congress members belonging to Telangana Region also were up on their feet. In the Rajya Sabha, BJP members trooped into the well of the house demanding Telangana state, forcing the adjournment of the house till 1117 hrs.
