In Uttar Pradesh, both houses of the State Legislatures – Vidhan Sabha and Vidhan Parishad have been adjourned for the day due to uproarious scenes prevailed therein. AIR Lucknow Correspondent reports that a few legislative businesses were completed amidst slogan rising by Opposition members. Most of the members from BJP, Samajwadi Party and the Congress were trooped into the well of the Houses raising their issues. When the Houses met for today's business, opposition members raised issues including law and order, alleged scams in NRHM and forcible land acquisitions from farmers in different districts of the State. Speaker in the Vidhan Sabha and Chairman in Vidhan Parishad adjourned the houses for one hour when their requests were not heeded for normalcy in the Houses. When the houses re-assembled, the situations were not different forcing them to adjourn the houses for the day.
