The MPs from TDP and YSR Congress today continued their separate protests in Parliament House over demand for special status to Andhra Pradesh and other financial benefits to the state. <br/><br/>Displaying posters, the Parliamentarians shouted slogans in support of their demands. <br/>'<br/>The Lok Sabha witnessed brief adjournments due to protests by the TDP and YSR Congress. As soon as the House met for the day, members of both the parties trooped to the well of the House raising placards and shouting slogans in support of their demands. <br/><br/>Speaker Sumitra Mahajan tried to run the Question Hour while requesting the agitating members to go back to their seats but in vain. Amid noisy scene, she adjourned the House till 11.45 AM. When the house reassembled, it resumed discussion on Union Budget 2018-19.<br/>' <br/>Speaking on the Budget, Ganesh Singh of BJP said the Narendra Modi government has fulfilled its promises related to different sectors. <br/><br/>He alleged that the Congress is unable to digest the welfare works taken up by the NDA regime. Mr Singh said the Congress should answer the questions raised on corruption during its rule. <br/>'<br/>Meanwhile, Members from TDP and YSR Congress continued their protests. Amid the discussion, Union Minister and TDP leader Y S Choudhary suggested looking into the demands of the agitating members. Responding to this, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Anantha Kumar appealed to the members to go back to their seats saying that Finance Minister Arun Jaitley will address their demand during his reply to the debate on Union Budget.<br/>'<br/>The Rajya Sabha was adjourned till 2 PM today on the demand by TDP members who gave 15 days time to the Centre to consider Special Status to Andhra Pradesh. <br/><br/>As soon as the House re-assembled at Noon after its first adjournment, Naresh Agrawal of the Samajwadi Party suggested suspending the Question Hour to take up discussion on Union Budget till late in the evening. <br/><br/>This was agreed to by Chairman M Venkiah Naidu. Meanwhile, some of the TDP members trooped into the well of the House in support of their demand. <br/><br/>Minister of State for Science and Technology and TDP leader Y S Choudhary said the state was divided unscientifically and during the last 3 and half years, certain schemes could not be implemented. Mr Choudhary said the Centre should resolve the issue within fifteen days. <br/><br/>Responding to this Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Vijay Goel said the Finance Minister will address the problem during his reply to the discussion on General Budget. <br/><br/>Chairman Venkiah Naidu adjourned the House till 2 PM. Earlier, the House witnessed an hour-long adjournment till Noon as Congress members, particularly women, protested against the remarks made by Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his reply to the Motion of Thanks to President for his address to the Joint Sitting of Parliament yesterday
