Both the Houses of Parliament today resumed normal business after the opposition and the ruling alliance decided to hold a discussion on price rise under a Rule which entails voting. The discussion will begin this afternoon. At the end of the debate, the House will adopt a unanimous resolution urging the government to take immediate and effective measures to curb inflation to give relief to the common man. The Rajya Sabha will take up discussion on internal security after the question hour and laying of papers on the table. Proceedings in both the Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha were disrupted on the price rise and a host of other issues in the first two days of the Monsoon Session.
