Both the Houses of Parliament were adjourned till noon today. When the Lok Sabha assembled in the morning, treasury bench members displayed newspaper clippings on the alleged kickbacks in the Agusta Westland case.<br/><br/>Both the treasury and opposition members indulged in sloganeering forcing Speaker Sumitra Mahajan to adjourn the House till noon.<br/><br/>In the Rajya Sabha, the Leader of the Opposition Ghulam Nabi Azad raised the issue of the plight of farmers due to drought and demonetization. <br/><br/>However, some of the ruling party and TMC members displayed some placards which the Deputy Chairman PJ Kurien disapproved. The Congress charged the ruling party with disrupting the proceedings claiming it unprecedented. <br/><br/>Minister Muqtar Abbas Naqvi countered the Congress allegation that it was the opposition that was holding the House at ransom. As the din persisted, the House was adjourned till noon.
