Proceedings in both the Houses of Parliament were disrupted again today on the issue of the appointment of the Lokayukta in Gujarat. The Lok Sabha has been adjourned for the day and the Rajya Sabha till 2 PM.As the Lok Sabha met this morning noisy scenes were witnessed with the opposition members trooping into the well demanding the recall of the Gujarat Governor and quashing of the appointment of Lokayukta.Members belonging to Samajwadi Party sought dismissal of Mayawati Government in Uttar Pradesh following killing of two advocates in the State. This led to the first adjournment of the house till Noon.Similar situation prevailed in the Rajya Sabha, which was adjourned twice. As the House met for the day, opposition members trooped into the well shouting slogans against the appointment of Lokayukta in Gujarat. The house witnessed noisy scenes as it met after the first adjournment forcing the presiding officer to adjourn it till 2 PM.This is for the fourth day that the two Houses have been witnessing adjournments on the issue.
