Both Houses of Parliament adjourned till 2 PM

<span style="color: #222222;">Both the Houses of Parliament have been adjourned till 2 PM. As soon as the Lok Sabha met for the day, Congress, TMC, and DMK members trooped into the well of the House demanding removal of Ajay Kumar Mishra from the council of ministers. The Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla tried to run the Question Hour amid constant sloganeering by the opposition members in the well. When the Speaker allowed Congress leader Rahul Gandhi to speak, he demanded Ajay Mishra should be sacked from the council of ministers. The Speaker Om Birla appealed the agitating members to let the House run. Amid din the Speaker tried to run the Question Hour but in vain.  Amidst the chaotic scene the Speaker adjourned the House till 2 pm.Yesterday also the issue of SIT report in Lakhimpur Kheri incident rocked the Lower House.<br />''<br />''In the Rajya Sabha, Leader of Opposition Mallikarjun Kharge wanted to raise issue under Rule 267. Both the Houses of Parliament have been adjourned till 2 PM following opposition uproar on various issues. In the Lok Sabha opposition members pressed the demand of removal of Minister of State for Home Ajay Kumar Mishra from the council of ministers over SIT report in Lakhimpur Kheri incident. As soon the House assembled for the day T R Balu of DMK raised the issue of SIT report in Lakhimpur Kheri incident.<br />''<br />''Referring the SIT report and alleged involvement of the Minister's son in this case, Mr. Balu demanded removal of the Ajay Mishra. Both Houses of Parliament adjourned till 2 PM

Both the Houses of Parliament have been adjourned till 2 PM as opposition wanted to take up issues of price rise and the situation in Uttar Pradesh for discussion after suspending the question hour. The Lok Sabha was first adjourned till 12 noon as BSP members wanted to take up the issue of the new and effective land acquisition bill. SP members were seeking dismissal of Mayawati government in Uttar Pradesh. The Shiv Sena members also joined them after the first adjournment seeking immediate arrest of people responsible for the Mumbai terror attacks. In the Rajya Sabha, opposition members wanted to raise the issue of price rise after suspending question hour. They wanted a discussion under a Rule which entails voting. The scene was no different when the House reassembled at 12 noon as some opposition members also wanted to take up the corruption issue. This led to adjournment of the House for the second time.
