Both houses of Parliament adjourned till 12 noon

Both houses of Parliament has been adjourned till 12 noon. The Lok Sabha was adjourned for 30 minutes after all slated questions for the hour were exhausted as most of the members scheduled to ask supplementaries were not present.<br/><br/>The Question Hour in the House continued for half an hour amidst noisy scenes and heated exchange of words with Left Members trooping into the well. They wanted withdrawal of central team from West Bengal who have been sent there to investigate into the political violence.<br/><br/>The Rajya Sabha was adjourned after the Left party members objected to the issue of sending central team to West Bengal. They described the move against the federal character of the country.<br/><br/>The issue was raised by the CPI (M) leader Mr. Sitaram Yechuri who sought suspension of question hour to take it up for discussion. He was supported by the Samajwadi Party and BJP members leading to noisy scenes despite assurance that the sentiments of the House will be conveyed to the Union Home Minister.<br/><br/>This forced the Chairman Mohd Hamid Ansari to adjourn the House till 11.20. When the house later reassembled it was adjourned for another 40 minutes as there was no change in the situation.<br/>
