Both the Houses of Parliament were adjourned for the day today over the Opposition demand to roll back the hike in petrol and diesel prices.

The Lok Sabha was finally adjourned at 2 p.m. after its two earlier adjournments during the day. Members from the Left parties and Trinamool Congress stalled the proceeding by trooping into the well of the House in support of their demand.

In the Rajya Sabha also the scene was no different when the House met at 3 p.m. after its two adjournments earlier.

The Opposition members continued demanding a roll back in fuel prices. Amidst the ruckus, the House was adjourned till tomorrow.
