As the noisy scene continued, &nbsp;the Presiding officer had to adjourn the House for the day. Earlier, &nbsp;Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla repeatedly urged the agitating members to go back to their seats but in vain.&nbsp; Amid ruckus, the House took up the Question Hour.<br />''<br />''In the Rajya Sabha when the House met for the day, &nbsp;Chairman M Venkaiah Naidu disallowed the notices given by the opposition members to suspend business to discuss the Lakhimpur Kheri incident. Following this, members from Congress, TMC, DMK , Left and others created noisy scene leading to adjournment of the House till 2 PM. When the House reassembled , the situation was no different leading to further adjournment of the House till 3 PM. When it reassembled at 3 PM, Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya made a reply to a short duration discussion on situation arising out of Omicron variant amid ruckus. After that the House took up &nbsp;the Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances ( Amendment) Bill, 2021 for consideration and passing. During this, the opposition members continued with sloganeering demanding revocation of suspension of 12 members and sacking of Union Minister of State for Home Ajay Kumar Mishra. During the discussion on the bill, when SP member &nbsp;Jaya Bachchan rose to speak, she had heated arguments with treasury benches members over the suspension of members. The Chair asked the SP member to only speak on the bill. Amid the pandemonium, the Chair adjourned the House till 5 PM. When the House reassembled, it resumed discussion on the Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (Amendment) Bill, 2021.<br />''<br />'' Union Finance Minister &nbsp;Nirmala Sitharaman replied to the debate on bill and after that the Bill was passed in the House.&nbsp; Earlier, Leader of the Opposition Mallikarjun Kharge raised the issue of Lakhimpur Kheri incident and demanded sacking of Union Minister Ajay Kumar Mishra. The Chair asked Mr Kharge to speak on the bill. Later, the Opposition members from Congress, Shiv Sena and DMK staged a walkout.
