The issue of the Illegal Mining in Karnataka disrupted proceedings in both the Houses of Parliament today. The Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha has been adjourned till noon. The agitated members of the BSP, JD(S) raised the issue in the two Houses amidst din seeking dismissal of the Karnataka government. In the Lok Sabha, some members also raised the issue of clean chit given by CBI to Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi in the Sohrabuddin encounter case. The Rajya Sabha was first adjourned for 15 minutes and later till noon despite repeated pleas by the Chairman Mohd. Hamid Ansari to restore order in the House.
