Both Houses of Parliament have resumed their normal business in the afternoon.
The Lok Sabha is discussing the Finance Bill, 2012. Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee had moved the Bill yesterday for approving the Centre's financial
proposals for 2012-13. The discussion had remained inclusive.
Earlier the Lok Sabha was adjourned till 2 p.m. As soon as the House reassembled after two adjournments , the BJP-led Opposition began raising slogans demanding the Home Minister's resignation over his alleged role in the 2G spectrum case . When the uproar continued, the Presiding Officer said the Finance Bill 2012, which is listed for passing today, will be deemed to be passed unless a discussion is allowed by the agitating Members. When this had no effect, the Presiding Officer adjourned the House for a third time .
The Rajya Sabha also witnessed similar scenes which led the adjournment of the house , first for ten minutes and later till noon.
