Both Houses of Bihar adjourned after uproar over demand of resignation of CM Nitish Kumar on controversial statement against women

Following the chaotic scene, the proceedings of the Legislative Assembly were adjourned till 2 pm, and the proceedings of the Upper House were adjourned till 1 pm.<br />''</span><br />''In the Legislative Assembly, as soon as the House assembled for the day, the opposition members trooped into the well demanding resignation of the Chief Minister. Amid sloganeering they tried to turn reporters' tables and raised chairs. Speaker Awadh Bihari Choudhary warned agitating members for their unruly behavior but in vain. As the noisy scenes continued, the Speaker adjourned the House till 2 pm.<br />''<br />''<span style="color: #222222;">In the Legislative Council, the situation was not different. When the Upper House met for the day the opposition members demanded the resignation of the Chief Minister. They trooped into the well of the House in support of their demand. Amid the protest, members from the treasury bench also started raising slogans against BJP leaders. Chairman Devesh Chandra Thakur repeatedly asked opposition members to return to their seats but they did not pay heed. As the pandemonium continued the Chairmen adjourned the House till 1 pm.</span><br />
