Union Minister of State for Home Affairs, Kiren Rijiju today said that borders of the country are secured and there is nothing to worry. <br/><br/>Speaking to media persons in Shillong, he however said that there are some challenges but troops deployment are often reviewed as per the situation. Mr Rijiju was in Shillong today to attend the platinum jubilee celebrations of the Assam Regimental Centre. <br/><br/>During his visit, the Union Minister also paid homage to Late Havildar Hangpan Dada from Borduria, Arunachal Pradesh who laid down his life for the nation.<br/><br/>Mr Rijiju met the family of late Havildar Hangpan Dada and also felicitated the family for the supreme sacrifice of the soldier. <br/><br/>Havildar Hangpan was injured badly in the encounter with the terrorists who crossed over from Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) earlier this year. He displayed raw courage, unflinching grit, presence of mind and with utter disregard to his personal safety and despite bleeding profusely, discharged his duties and made supreme sacrifice for the nation. <br/><br/>Mr Rijiju also expressed his happiness over the fact that Assam Regimental Centre which is a dedicated force of the North East has served the country in the most befitting manner for the last 75 years. The celebration was also attended by jawans, officers and veterans of the Assam Regimental Centre.
