<span style="color: #222222;">Minister of State for Home, Nisith Pramanik today said Border Guarding Forces are well equipped to neutralize threats emanating from misuse of drones by rogue elements including terrorists. In a written reply in the Lok Sabha, he said an incident of use of drones to deliver ammunition was noticed and drone was neutralized in Punjab along Indo-Pakistan border this year. Mr. Pramanik said anti-drone systems have been deployed along the border to tackle such situations. In addition, Border Guarding Forces have taken various preventive and precautionary measures to counter drones. This includes framing of SOPs for countering drones, adequate deployment of troops, and patrolling and deployment of surveillance equipment.</span><br />
