In the U.S. Open Tennis in New York, the duo of India's Rohan Bopanna and Pakistan's Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi will take on the top-seeded Bryan brothers, Bob and Mike, of the United States in the Men's Doubles final later on Friday night. The Indo-Pak duo stormed into their first-ever Grand Slam final with a 7-6, 6-4 victory over the Argentine pair of Eduardo Schwank and Horacio Zaballos in the semi-final on Thursday. In the other semi-final, the American brothers outclassed Marcel Granollers and Tommy Robredo of Spain 6-1, 6-4. The two Women's Singles semi-finals are also slated for tonight. The line will be American Venus Williams versus Kim Clijsters of Belgium and Caroline Wozniacki of Denmark versus Vera Zvonareva of Russia. The rivalry between Venus and Clijsters spans almost a decade and will be rekindled on Friday night.
