Rohan Bopanna and his partner Aisam-ul-haq-Qureshi have stormed into the semifinals of the St. Petersburg Open tennis tournament. In the quarter-finals of the hard court ATP event at St. Petersburg, Russia, yesterday, the Indo-pak pair defeated their unseeded rivals Janko Tipsaveric and Viktor Troicki 3-6, 7-6, 10-3. The second seeded Indo-Pak duo will now meet third seeded Slovakians Filip Polasek and Igor Zelenay. The Slovakian combination beat Pablo Andujar and Michael Russell 6-1, 6-3 in their quarter-final match.
