Rohan Bopanna and Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi have entered the next round in men's doubles of the US Open tennis tournament. They beat Daniel Nestor of Canada and Nenad Zimonjic of Serbia 6-3, 6-4. In the mixed doubles event, last year's finalists Leander Paes and Cara Black of Zimbabwe also advanced to the next round beating Kaia Kanepi of Estonia and Robert Lindstedt of Sweden 6-4, 6-1. Mahesh Bhupathi's campaign ended after suffering defeats in both men's doubles and mixed doubles events with his respective partners. Bhupathi and his Belarussian partner Max Mirnyi suffered a shock 4-6, 6-3, 6-7 second round defeat in the men's doubles at the hands of unseeded Argentine pair of Eduardo Schwank and Horacio Zeballos.
