India's Rohan Bopanna and Pakistan's Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi will take on top-seeded Bryan brothers in the men's doubles final of the US Open tennis championship this evening in New York.The Indo-Pak duo reached the final of a Grand Slam for the first time in their career. They scored a facile 7-6, 6-4 win over Argentines Eduardo Schwank and Horacio Zeballos in the semi-finals. However, Aisam-Ul-Haq Qureshi and his partner Kveta Peschke lost to Liezel Huber and Bob Bryan in mixed doubles final. The US top seeds defeated Qureshi and his Czech partner 6-4, 6-4 at Arthur Ashe Stadium for the crown yesterday,Meanwhile, Indian tennis fraternity showered encomiums on the Indo-Pak pair for their incredible run in the tournament. India's number one female tennis player Sania Mirza congratulated the pair on her twitter page and told them to give it all in the final. Tennis stars like Mahesh Bhupati and Somdev Devburman also cogratulated them. Sports Minister M S Gill said the pair's success should lead to better sporting ties between India and Pakistan.
