Indo-Romanian pair of Rohan Bopanna and Florin Mergea have advanced to the quarterfinals of the Monte-Carlo Masters. Sixth seeded Indo-Romanian pair got the better of Robert Lindstedt and Alexander Peya in straight sets 7-5, 7-5. Bopanna and Mergea will next take on fourth seeded pair of Jamie Murray and Bruno Soares. In the opening round of the tournament earlier, Bopanna and Mergea had got a bye.
