Rohan Bopanna and his German partner Andre Begermann have stormed into the quarter finals of the ATP 500 Citi Open in Washington. Bopanna playing with his eighth partner of the season, shocked top seeds Alexendra Peya and Bruno Soares 6-2, 6-7, 10-5 in the opening round of the event. They next face Treat Huey of Philippines and Briton Dominic Inglot in the quarter-finals. India's Somdev Devvarman , however, went down to American John Isner whom he had beaten in the 2007 NCAA Division championship. Devvarman is just back on tennis court after missing almost the entire last year with a shoulder injury.
