In Assam, a Booth Sammelan of the BJP is underway in Guwahati. Chief Minister Sarbanand Sonowal, senior party leader Ram Madhav,  State Unit President Ranjit Kumar Dass are among the prominent leaders present on this occasion. <br />'' <br />'' Addressing the rally, North-East Democratic Alliance Convenor and Assam Finance Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said that not more than 3.5 lakh to 4 lakh people would get citizenship in Assam through the Citizenship Amendment Act, CAA. <br />'' <br />'' He said that BJP will accept the challenge politically if the agitators will form any political party in the state. <br />'' <br />'' State BJP President Mr Dass urged party workers to spread the correct information on CAA. He said that it was the commitment of the BJP to give Citizenship to religious persecuted minorities of the neighbouring countries. <br />''  <br />
