The Bombay High Court will pronounce final verdict on confirmation of death sentence awarded to Pakistani terrorist Ajmal Kasab for his role in the 26/11 terror attacks on 21st of February. The Court will also give decision on the appeal filed by Maharashtra Government against acquittal of co-accused Faheem Ansari and Sabauddin Ahmed in the same case on this date. The Court has also decided to give its verdict on the appeal filed by Kasab against the death sentence awarded to him. Kasab will not be brought to the Court on February 21, but will be made to participate in the proceedings through video conferencing. After arguments in the case concluded last month, the Division bench consisting of Justices Ranjana Desai and R V More had reserved order and kept the matter for directions today. The division bench heard the arguments of the prosecution lawyer Ujwal Nikam and defence lawyers Amin Solkar and Farhana Shah for over 45 days.
