The Bombay High Court has stayed the proceedings of BCCI's disciplinary committee against former IPL commissioner Lalit Modi till January 10 saying that the panel does not have the Board's general body's mandate. The High Court order came on a petition filed by Modi challenging the legality of the three-member disciplinary committee comprising Chirayu Amin, Arun Jaitley and Jyotiraditya Scindia probing alleged financial irregularities committed by Modi while conducting the IPL. Modi has expressed relief at the High Court's decision.
