Bombay HC seeks to know about vaccination of Pilots, details of those deployed for Vande Bharat Mission

The Bombay High Court has asked the Pilot Federation about the number of pilots deployed and for how many hours they flew the Vande Bharat flights to rescue Indians stranded in foreign countries at the onset of the COVID-19 outbreak. At the same, the bench asked about the details of pilot vaccination drive and directed the federation to file an affidavit.<br />''<br />''A Division Bench of Chief Justice Dipankar Datta and Justice G. S. Kulkarni was hearing a petition filed by the Federation of Indian Pilots seeking compensation of 10 crore rupees for the families of pilots who died of COVID-19 in line of duty. The plea demanded vaccination for the pilots and insurance cover for them.<br />''<span style="color: #000000;">The petitioners, informed the court that since February 2021, at least 13 Indian pilots have died due to COVID-19, where pilots are front-line workers who have been working through the pandemic. Therefore, they should get vaccination and compensation on priority.</span><br />
