A road side bomb has killed five foreign soldiers in southern Afghanistan. A statement from the NATO led international force gave no further details. The Taliban said they carried out the attack which took place in the Sangin area of Helmand. American troops are the main force in the region. Meanwhile, the Taliban have rejected NATO's assertion that it killed the militants who shot down an American helicopter several days ago.
