In Meghalaya, Seven people were injured in a bomb explosion at a marketplace in Tura ( 323 k.m from Shillong) of West Garo Hills district yesterday. Police say the incident occurred at 6.10Pm and the condition of three people are critical. West Garo Hills Deputy Commissioner S K Goel told that the injured has been admitted to hospital and the spot of incident had been cordoned off and a manhunt launched to nab the culprits. Police suspect involvement of local goons in the crime. Meanwhile, Chief Minister Dr Mukul Sangma has condemned the bomb blast and assured his government will make every effort to investigate into the matter and nab the culprit.
