In Pakistan, nine people have been killed and 29 others injured in a bomb blast near an intelligence office in the city of Multan on Tuesday. Police said the blast took place in the Qasim Bela area. TV channels showed images of damaged buildings and ambulances at the scene in Multan. No-one has yet claimed responsibility for the attack. The blast took place close to a security checkpointPolice official Agaha Yousaf told the television channel that it was too premature to say whether it was a suicide attack.The lastest incident comes just a day after two bombs exploded in a busy market in Lahore, killing at least 49 people.
