In Pakistan, at least 12 people were killed and several others injured on Tuesday in a bomb blast near a police vehicle in the north-western town of Dera Ismail Khan. <br/><br/>Officials said the bomb was planted on a bicycle and targeted the town's deputy police superintendent, who was killed along with his guard and driver. <br/><br/>According to Hospital sources, the dead included women and children. Nobody has claimed responsibility for the attack. The police have cordoned off the area. <br/>
