In Afghanistan, at least four people were killed and 21 others injured on Saturday in a bomb blast in Lashkar Gah , the capital city of southern Helmand province. According to a spokesman for provincial administration, the car bomb blast occurred next to a local bank branch when a number of Afghan soldiers were receiving their salaries. He said the injured include six civilians, 10 Afghan soldiers and five Afghan policemen. The officials blamed the attack on Taliban militants.
