Bomb attack in Afghanistan leaves 10 soliders dead

In Afghanistan, at least five French soldiers of NATO force and a civilian have been killed in a bomb attack in eastern Kapisa province yesterday. NATO headquarter in Kabul in its news release confirmed the killing of these soldiers.The attack took place just a day after French President Nicolas Sarkozy visited Kabul and announced withdrawal of one fourth of its 4000 troops from Afghanistan.A news channel quoting French President's office in Paris has said the soldiers were protecting a meeting of village elders in Kapisa province, when a terrorist detonated his bomb.Four French soldiers and three Afghan civilians were also wounded in the incident. Taliban has claimed responsibility for the killing.
