In Uttar Pradesh, the Police have busted a racket in bogus driving licenses by arresting 12 persons in Mathura. AIR Lucknow correspondent reports that thousands of bogus driving licenses, blank and filled up forms for driving licenses, laptop, printer, computer and seals used for preparing bogus licenses were recovered from them. The Police said they were running five centres for preparing bogus licenses. One suspended employee of Regional Transport Office was also involved in the racket. The Police action came on the basis of news items appeared in a section of press in Delhi stating that bogus driving licenses prepared from Mathura were recovered from some people in the national capital.
