In Himachal Pradesh, search and rescue operation by over 400 personnel from various agencies has today entered the fourth day.

One more body has been recovered today. The deceased has been identified as T. Opinder.

With this, a total of 7 bodies have now been retrieved from the Beas River. 17 more students and a tour operator are still missing.

These 24 youngsters were students of a Hyderabad-based Engineering Institute who were washed away in surging waters of the Beas when the gates of Larji Hydro Power Project were allegedly opened without any warning, last Sunday.

Police is investigating the matter.
