In Jammu and Kashmir, army teams today recovered the body of the soldier who had gone missing following an avalanche in Kargil area of Jammu and Kashmir.<br/>A defence spokesman said in Srinagar that the search teams recovered the mortal remains of sepoy Vijay Kumar K. from under 12 feet of snow today.<br/><br/>Rescue dogs, deep penetration radars and metal detectors<br/>were also pressed into service and the search operation continued for three days despite adverse weather conditions , the spokesman said.<br/><br/>The soldier belonged to Vallaramapuram village of Thirunelvelli District of Tamil Nadu, is survived by his parents and two younger sisters.<br/><br/>Meanwhile Sepoy Sujit, who was rescued on the first day itself, is medically stable and recovering well, the spokesman said.
