Body of Martyr Shankar Shinde brought to Deolali Army Camp in Nasik

The body of Martyr Shankar Chandrabhan Shinde, who was killed in a fierce encounter in the frontier district of Kupwara in north Kashmir yesterday, was brought to Deolali Army Camp in Nasik district of Maharashtra today.<br/><br/>AIR Correspondent from Nasik Sanjay Pathak has informed that the Vayusena Tofkhana Centre and Border Force Jawans paid their tribute to Martyr Shinde. The brave heart's body wrapped in the Indian Tricolor will be kept at Deolali camp for the public to pay their last respects today. His last rites will be performed at his hometown Bhayale village in Chandwad tehsil of Nasik tomorrow.<br/><br/>The 34 years old martyr Shinde is survived by his wife, a six-year-old daughter and an 18-month-old son. His family and entire village hailed loomed into sorrow on hearing the news of Shinde's death on Saturday. He was part of the 11 Maratha Light Infantry and was one of the two jawans killed in an encounter. Before the death , the jawans had killed five terrorists.
