In West Bengal, the bodies of two Maoists killed in an encounter with joint forces last night were found in the deep forests of Ghatbera in Balarampur area of Purulia district today. IG, Western Range, Gangeswar Singh said the two were shot dead in yesterday's encounter which took place after the killing of two Trinamool Congress (TC) workers by the ultras. He said, the two joint force personnel injured in the encounter were being airlifted to Kolkata for treatment.Search is on in the forests to find if there were any more bodies as the Maoists were suspected to have fled to neighbouring Dalma Hills in Jharkhand after the hour long encounter. He said, additional forces have been rushed to Ghatbera, where a police camp already exists.
