Fifteen more bullet riddled bodies of suspected Taliban militants were today recovered from the Swat valley in Pakistan's restive northwest, raising concerns of extra-judicial killings. This is the second day in running that the authorities have come across bodies of suspected Taliban militants, but the Army attributed the killings to inter-militancy rivalry. Army spokesman Major Mushtaq Khan said to TV Channels that they might have been the victims of infighting among militant groups or killed by local people. Bodies of six top Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan militants were found in the Hangu region of the North West Frontier Province by the police yesterday. They were found with explosives attached to their bodies triggered to explode on touch. The militants belonged to the Taliban faction led by Mehsud, who was killed in a US drone attack in August. It could not be immediately ascertained who had killed the six commanders.
