BrihanMumbai Municipal Corporation's anti Covid-19 vaccination efforts are getting unprecedented response from citizens and as a result, in September, as many as 29 lakh 51 thousand 157 doses were administered. The vaccination centers include government, BMC and private hospitals where the vaccination drive was carried out. In July and August this year, the administration received 10 lakh doses, while in September it got nearly double amounting to 19 lakh 25 thousand 140 doses.<br />'' <br />''<span style="color: #222222;">In BMC's jurisdiction, a total of 1 Crore, 23 lakh 11 thousand 541 jabs were given from 16th January to 30 September morning. BMC administration received 77 lakh 62 thousand 470 doses in this period, out of which 76 lakh 96 thousand 833 doses were administered. It is claimed that, not only in Maharashtra, in entire country, among cities with population above 10 lakh, Mumbai is on top. In January 2021, only 12 vaccination centers were started in Mumbai. Today, there are 325 BMC and government vaccination centers while 139 private centers are operational.</span><br />
