During the lockdown as the OPD services are also closed down, blood donation for emergency cases in Kargil became a challenge to the health department.<br />''<br />'' Kargil Distirct Hospital Gaynecologist Dr Zahra Banoo said that Blood Donation Groups in Kargil are actively helping them during emergencies by arranging blood within time and has helped in saving lifes of pregnant ladies during deleivery.<br />'' <br />'' Kargil District Hospital  Surgeon Specialist Dr Sajjad Hussain said that lockdown has affected the arrangement of Blood in cases of emergencies but  recently opened WhatsApp Group of Blood Donor has helped the doctors and patients.<br />
