India have retained the World Cup for the Blind. In the final today, India defeated Pakistan by two wickets at Sharjah in UAE. Team India achieved the victory target losing 8 wickets for 309 with one over to spare. Earlier, put into bat, Pakistan made 308 runs for 8 wickets in 40 overs.Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has congratulated the Indian cricket team for winning the Blind Cricket World Cup – 2018. In a tweet, Mr Modi said, they are true champions and make the nation proud. He said, they inspired every Indian with their game as well as phenomenal attitude.
