Blasts in Iraq kill four people, injure 23

In Iraq, four people were killed and 23 others wounded in four blasts in different places today. According to a statement of Baghdad Operations Command , 11 Iraqi servicemen and five civilians were injured when a booby-trapped vehicle went off targeting a security convoy in the al-Bayaa neighbourhood.Two roadside bombs went off in the al-Mahmoudiya and al-Nahdha areas, killing a civilian and wounding five others including a security serviceman the statement added. In Kirkuk, two policemen were killed and two civilians wounded when a roadside bomb went off at al-Zab police station in the southwest of city. In separate incidents , two roadside bombs went off in the al-Adhamiya and al-Taji neighborhoods, leaving no casualties. Meanwhile, a TV reporter was killed when he came under gunmen’s fire in eastern Mosul city.
