Blast sets several houses on fire in San Francisco

In the United States, several homes were on fire after a huge blast occurred early last night in San Bruno near San Francisco International Airport. Authorities said, the explosion happened shortly after 6 p.m. local time in an area near the intersection of highways 280 and 380 in San Bruno. The fire then spread to a residential area. Live TV footage show flames went up some 6 to 9 meters high as multiple homes and cars were set ablaze. According to Fire Department, the fire is burning out of control. The Federal Aviation Administration said they do not believe it was a plane that caused the explosion, while several witnesses said it sounded like a jet.
