In Afghanistan, four people have been killed and several injured in an explosion in the eastern Laghman province. According to district governor Faridullah Niazi, the incident happened on Monday in a bazaar of Alishing district in the province at around 12 noon. He said several people were injured in the blast. Meanwhile, a policeman described the blast as a suicide bombing saying that majority of the victims were civilians.
