Blast kills 8 at Russian arms depot

At least eight people have been killed and two others wounded in an explosion at a Russian ammunition depot. The Defence ministry said the explosion happened at an arsenal on the outskirts of the city of Ulyanovsk. The Arsenal 31 depot is about 900 kilometers south-east of the capital Moscow. Explosions and fires in the same site ten days ago killed two soldiers as they attempted to decommission weapons.<br/>
