In Tamil Nadu, railway services affected by a blast this morning on the Villupuram section near Sithani has since been resumed. The damage to the track has been repaired. <br/><br/>Police sources said passengers of the Rockfort Express had a miraculous escape when the train driver stopped the train few yards away from the blast site. No one has been injured in the blast.<br/><br/>The Police are investigating the cause of the blast. A written note from the blast site has been recovered. Following the incident a number of trains from the Southern districts to Chennai have been delayed.
