In Assam, one labour was killed and another 6 injured in a blast at iron rod manufacturing industry at Joyguru in North Guwahati under Kamrup district this morning. State Central West Region IGP L R Bishnoi said, as per preliminary investigation, the blast occurred at one of the unit of the P G Pipe Limited, due to technical error. Three seriously injured labourers were rushed to the Guwahati Medical College and Hospital. A total of 30 persons were working in this industry.
