Commerce Minister Nirmala Sitharaman told the Lok Sabha today that imposing a blanket ban on all Chinese goods is not possible. Answering supplementaries during the question hour, she said, many sub-standard Chinese goods like milk products and certain series of mobile phones have been rejected. The government has taken specific action to allow the import of only acceptable items from China, she said.
