Black money probe to be completed by March 31 2015: SIT Chief

Chairman of Special Investigation Team, SIT, Justice M B Shah, today said it will complete its probe into the black money case by 31st March, 2015, the deadline fixed by the Supreme Court.

In an interview to a private TV channel, he said whoever has looted the country will be brought to book.

Justice Shah said the second report will be submitted to the Supreme Court tentatively on 3rd or 4th of December. The panel had submitted its first report to the apex court in August this year.

He made it clear that confidentiality of account holders will not be violated.

Vice Chairman of the SIT Justice A Pasayat said the panel will go beyond 627 names given by the government. He said there are other names that the SIT is trying to gather.

Our correspondent reports that SIT will seek information from public on black money. It will also share an email address through advertisements that can be used by public to give specific data.
